Cherry Blossoms Festival which is held in the mid-April every year at the whole areas of Gyeongpodae Pavilion(Provincial Tangible Cultural Property No. 6)has become the representative festival of our city and many domestic and foreign tourists come and enjoy it. The beautiful flowers bloom along with 4.3 km road of Gyeongpoho Lake which has Gyeongpodae Pavilion in the center. Spring flowers such as cherry blossoms, forsythia and narcissus bloom beautifully. With the old trees spreading their branches and blooming flowers, many people visit and enjoy the beautiful scenery. There are various events including Flower Exhibition and Cultural and Artistic Events around the Gyeongpodae Pavilion.
