Important Intangible Cultural Property No. 13. It is a festival and also a ritual to pray for the safety on mountain trails, good harvest, good haul, and peace. The memorial service is held for Daegwallyeong Seonang. It is also called Danogut or Danyang Ritual, and it is the typical event on Dano, the 5th day of May in the lunar calendar. It begins on the 20th day of March in the lunar calendar to brew Sinju(Libation) for the memorial service and ends on the 6th day of May in the lunar calendar; a big event held for 50 days. The schedule of Danoje Festival: March 20-Brew libation, April 1-First Dano, and April 8-Second Dano; there are Heonju(Libation) and Muak(Shamanistic Music).
