Seongyojang House in Gangneung is a beautiful Korean traditional house that has been well preserved for 300 years and has been designated as an important National Folklore Cultural Heritage (No. 5). Seongyojang House is filled with various houses and consists of a museum that displays relics that have been used for 300 years and a folk museum that displays daily necessities. There are education halls with a grand conference room, small conference rooms and banquet halls, restaurants, tea rooms in Hwallaejeong Pavilion, workshops, and cafes.
